NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord, and medically complex injuries, illnesses, and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community‑based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, military service members, and veterans.
Position Cognitive Retraining Specialist (Full‑Time). This is a traveling position covering West Philadelphia and the northern suburbs of Philadelphia.
Job Type & Location Full‑time (32–40 hours per week). No weekends or on‑call. Covers West Philadelphia / Northern suburbs of Philadelphia.
Schedule & Pay
Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm (no nights, weekends, or holidays)
$20 per hour plus mileage reimbursement
Full‑time (32+ hours per week)
Responsibilities
Teach memory strategies, planning, budgeting, and problem‑solving
Promote social and communication skills
Support safe navigation and community engagement
Help with study skills and vocational readiness
Educate families and build natural support systems
Training & Mentorship
2 weeks of paid training
5 weeks of mentorship
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Education, Social Science (or related disciplines such as education, medicine, neuropsychology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, psychology, sociology, counseling, rehabilitation science, recreation therapy, social work, special education, speech‑language pathology, or other related fields)
Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months
Reliable transportation
Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills
Experience with individuals with disabilities preferred (not required)
