Compensation & Commission Base pay 10.50 - 15.00+ per hour (plus up to 12% commission). Store Managers can earn 19 - 23+ per hour (base + up to 12% commission + monthly bonus). Top performers earn even more. Monthly bonus program, generous commission program, and fun, goal‑related contests.
Responsibilities
Maintain salon staff by recruiting, selecting, and orienting employees.
Achieve sales goals and other performance criteria by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to sales staff, including coaching, counseling, and correcting employees.
Complete company operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
Achieve financial objectives through effective monitoring of controllable expenses such as labor, cost of sales, and expenses.
Maintain the stability and reputation of the salon by complying with all legal requirements.
Manage and assign tasks appropriately to ensure the salon is clean, adequately stocked, organized, well‑kept, and customer ready.
Establish rapport with customers building loyalty and long‑term relationships.
Create a positive, motivating, team‑based environment.
Investigate and resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Analyze daily sales and expense information and perform all other financial analyses to maximize sales and net profits.
Safeguard and account for all money received and be responsible for banking requirements.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven experience in retail/customer service environment.
Ability to effectively influence others.
Must be able to stand, bend, and walk for long periods of time, for 7+ hours per day.
Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance.
Reliable transportation, flexible availability, including nights and weekends.
Compensation: 10.50 - 15.00+ per hour (base pay + up to 12% commission). Monthly bonus program, generous commission program, fun goal‑related contests, and flexible schedules.
