Duties:
Assist the Head Chef in overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen
Ensure food quality and presentation meets the restaurant's standards
Supervise and coordinate the work of kitchen staff
Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and portion sizes
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
Qualifications:
Previous experience in kitchen management or as a Sous Chef is preferred
Strong knowledge of food production and culinary techniques
Familiarity with the food industry and current trends
Excellent food handling skills, including proper storage and preparation techniques
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff
Knowledge of restaurant management principles, including inventory control and cost management
