About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Civil Interface Engineer to join our team in Cairo, Egypt. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the interfaces between various engineering disciplines on civil engineering projects, ensuring seamless integration and efficient project execution.
Coordinate and manage interfaces between civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering disciplines for rail project.
Develop and maintain interface management systems and documentation
Analyze and resolve interface conflicts and discrepancies in design and construction phases
Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely resolution of interface issues
Prepare and review interface-related technical documents and drawings
Conduct regular interface meetings and provide status updates to project stakeholders
Implement and maintain quality control measures for interface management
Identify potential risks related to interfaces and propose mitigation strategies
Assist in the development of project schedules and budgets, considering interface dependencies
Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in interface management
What do we need from you
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
10 years of experience in civil engineering projects, with a focus on interface management
Proficiency in civil engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit
Rail experience with project management and interface management systems
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction processes, and industry standards
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Proven track record of managing complex interfaces in large-scale projects
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
