Behavior Therapist - Soar Autism Center
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Therapist (RBT) to join our team at Soar Autism Center, a leader in providing play‑based ABA therapy for children on the autism spectrum.
Overview At Soar Autism Center, we are dedicated to enhancing the lives of children on the autism spectrum. By drawing from the principles of the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) and Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), we empower children to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Provide one‑on‑one ABA therapy to children aged 2‑6 in our clinic, adhering to the profession’s high standards
Implement intervention plans crafted by our expert BCBAs, ensuring alignment with ABA principles
Foster relationships with families, consistently updating them on their child’s progress within the ABA framework
Engage in ongoing training and development, keeping up‑to‑date with advancements in ABA therapy and RBT certification
Qualifications
Strong preference for enrollment in or completion of a degree program; bonus for degrees in Child Development, Psychology, or related fields
Ability to achieve and maintain RBT certification (Soar will provide paid training)
Previous experience working with children and enjoyment in pediatric care
Reliable transportation to both training location and local center; punctuality is essential
Physical ability to sit and stand frequently, shift positions quickly, lift up to 50 lbs., sit/kneel on the floor for extended periods, and occasionally run short distances
Computer and tablet literacy
Ability to work effectively on a team
What We Offer
$21.50 – $28.50 per hour with regular bonus and promotion opportunities; the initial offer will be between $21.50 and $22.75, with staff considered for raise or promotion every 3 months
