Base pay range $35.00/hr - $40.00/hr
The Contract Recruiter is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent for Chromalloy. They play a critical role in ensuring that the company's staffing needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. The Recruiter works closely with hiring managers and HR professionals to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.
This position is a hybrid role with occasional on-site presence at our facility in Carson City, NV. Candidates must be local to the Carson City/Reno area.
Key Responsibilities
Sourcing Candidates: Utilize various channels such as job boards, social media, employee referrals, and recruitment agencies to find potential candidates.
Screening Applications: Review resumes and cover letters to determine the suitability of candidates for specific roles.
Conducting Interviews: Schedule and conduct initial phone screens to assess candidates’ qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
Managing Applicant Tracking System (ATS): Maintain accurate records of all recruitment activities and candidate interactions in the ATS.
Building Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide regular updates on recruitment progress.
Offer Management: Extend job offers to selected candidates and negotiate terms as necessary.
Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with employment laws and regulations.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in high-volume recruiting. Aerospace manufacturing industry experience is a plus, but is not required.
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS). Dayforce is a plus.
Proficiency in spreadsheet software, including sort/filter, basic functions, formatting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
