Knudtsen Chevrolet is seeking a Business Development Representative(BDC Rep) to join the Knudtsenteam.Knudtsen is a family-owned and operated company that provides the community with new and used vehicles, a full-service body shop and service department,as well as Genuine GM Parts. Summary of Position A BDC Repis responsible forfollowing up on unsold showroom traffic leads and appraisals. You would be an integral part of creating valuable, lifelong customer relationships and would directlyimpactthe customer experience at Knudtsen Chevrolet. Continuing product, process, and service specific training would be provided.
Responsibilities
Contacts unsold showroom traffic leads.
Reachesout to in-market customers using manifest lists.
Work the service drive offering appraisals.
Performs other duties assigned.
Qualifications
A team player focused on providing exemplary customer service.
Self-motivated and hard-working.
Must be comfortable using a multiline phone system.
Must be able to multitask and stay organized.
Basic computer skills, working ability of Word, Excel,Outlook, and ability to learn database management software.
Capacityto learn product knowledgefor inventories, advertising programs, etc.
Proficient oral and written communication skills, and the ability to read and interpret documents.
Have a valid driver’s license.
Pass a motor vehicle report and possessa safe driving record.
Pass a criminal background check, credit check, and drug test.
Also subject to random drug testing, reasonablesuspiciondrug and alcohol testing, and post-accident testingat the company’s request.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS and WORKING ENVIRONMENT The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The BDC Representatives physical requirements include:
Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day
Employeeis regularly required totalk and hear
The employee must be able to lift or move items at least20pounds
Vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depthperceptionand ability to adjust focus
Must be able to work in all weather conditions
Team Members regularlyworks40 hoursper week.While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member will typicallybe in the Dealership seated at a Desk. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, outside weather conditions and combustiblesif visiting the outside lot or the service areas.Typically, the BDC Rep will be in an office setting that can be a fast pacedworking environment, but typically the environment is quiet and calm. The noise level in the work environment is quiet to moderately loud. If walking through the service areas can be exposed to loud noises and dangerous work environments.
