Job Summary This role provides hands‑on support for daily HR operations, including onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and employee relations. It serves as a key point of contact for employees while helping maintain accurate records, support HR programs, and promote a positive workplace culture.

As a Human Resources Generalist, You Will:

Support administration of employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and supplemental benefits

Assist with annual open enrollment and employee life‑change events

Manage pre‑employment processes, including offer letter preparation and pre‑employment screenings

Ensure a smooth onboarding experience by coordinating new‑hire paperwork and HR system entry

Coordinate and support the company’s drug‑free workplace and safety program

Assist with compliance efforts related to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

Conduct audits of HR files, I‑9s, and required documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance

Support leave of absence programs, including FMLA, ADA, and related policies

Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS while upholding confidentiality standards

Generate HR reports and metrics as needed to support business and compliance needs

Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns, providing timely and professional support

Promote a positive workplace culture through effective communication and employee engagement initiatives

Participate in special HR projects and continuous improvement efforts

Skills and Requirements

2‑4 years of experience in a generalist HR role.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HRIS systems.

Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Excellent customer service skills with the understanding of the need for confidentiality.

Ability to solve problems/critical thinking.

Bi‑lingual in English and Spanish is preferred.

Education

Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred or minimum of 5 years of experience working with Benefits Administration for large private organizations.
