Normal setting: repair/maintenance shop at any Upper MidWest location
Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment
Estimate time and material costs for vehicle repairs and new parts
Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs)
Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns
Conduct safety checks on vehicles to ensure employee and community safety
Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage and repair times
Assist senior mechanics with project work
Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA Standards
Qualifications
4 years of relevant work experience
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Over 18 years of age
Legally eligible to work in the United States
Ability to meet physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
Successfully pass a pre‑employment drug screen and physical exam
