Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced

Mechanical Engineer

to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed construction plans, specifications, and technical drawings. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, particularly in HVAC and Controls, as well as proficiency in design tools and effective problem-solving skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop a comprehensive understanding of MEP systems, focusing on building-related mechanical systems such as HVAC and Controls.

Utilize experience in commercial building design to contribute to various projects.

Independently address and resolve diverse mechanical engineering challenges.

Actively participate in design reviews, contributing valuable insights and recommendations.

Prepare and analyze reports, maps, studies, drawings, and photos to support project objectives.

Conduct site visits to document and verify project conditions.

Maintain professional communication with clients, agencies, and contractors to ensure project alignment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 5 years of mechanical engineering/design experience.

License:

PE License is highly desired.

Education:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program.

Proficient in design layout and specification writing.

Advanced proficiency in

Microsoft Office ,

AutoCAD ,

Revit , and

BlueBeam .

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams, clients, architects, and subconsultants.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Strong expertise in HVAC systems and Controls.

Experience with design tools, including AutoCAD, Revit, and BlueBeam.

Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Detail-oriented approach to problem-solving and project execution.
