Position Summary and Responsibilities: The Garage Associate will provide clerical assistance -will be responsible for organization and inventory of parts. Running of parts. Duties are as follows, but not limited to:
Ensure assigned duties are accomplished accurately and in a timely fashion.
Receive parts - check in parts, receive into inventory, print barcode and close PO, put stock parts away or tag unit‑specific parts for techs
Keep manager/supervisor informed of any issues which could affect business.
Input outside repair invoices into fleet management program work order and attach the invoice copy to the work order
Cycle count inventory once a week
Run DVIR report hourly
Assist night management with road calls and issuing PO's
Check Mail
Filling and scanning paper invoices
Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 3:00pm - 11:30pm
Pay: $22.65 per hour
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Parts experience preferred but not required
Basic computer knowledge required
Must be very detail-oriented and highly organized.
Must be a self-starter, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and schedule workload
Ability to work with confidential information/material
Enthusiastic self-starter
Ability to receive and follow directions
Ability to multi-task
Customer-focused
Strong attention to detail
High School Diploma or GED required
Physical Requirements:
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs. is preferred
Ability to get certified to operate forklift
