Base pay range $110,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr

Role Overview eNGINE is seeking two UX Designers to contribute to the design and refinement of user experiences for enterprise-grade medical devices and supporting software platforms. This role partners closely with cross‑functional teams to transform user research and operational requirements into intuitive, dependable experiences across both physical hardware and digital interfaces in regulated environments.

Key Contributions

Convert user insights and clinical context into clear, usable interface and device interaction concepts

Develop concepts ranging from early sketches to high‑fidelity digital and physical prototypes

Communicate design rationale through visual artifacts, storytelling, and presentations

Evolve designs through usability feedback, analytics, and structured design reviews

Support research and validation activities by creating materials used in testing and evaluation

Establish and maintain visual standards, interaction patterns, and navigation structures

Collaborate with engineering, product, and business partners to refine and approve design solutions

Define user journeys, workflows, and experience requirements

Conduct interviews and working sessions with internal stakeholders and end users

Champion user‑centered design practices while aligning with industry and regulatory expectations

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a design‑focused discipline such as UX Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Information Science, or a related field

Five or more years of professional experience delivering UX solutions in product‑driven environments

Technical Skills & Capabilities

Advanced proficiency with Figma, including collaborative design workflows

Strong experience using tools such as FigJam, Miro, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator

Background in creating icons, motion elements, and micro‑interactions

Ability to rapidly explore ideas through sketching and experience storyboards

Experience defining information architecture, contributing to design systems, and maintaining style guides

Hands‑on experience building both digital and physical prototypes

Solid foundation in user‑centered methodologies, including research planning, usability testing, and iterative design

Familiarity with UX best practices for web, mobile, and embedded interfaces

Communication & Professional Skills

Ability to interpret complex technical information and translate it into effective design solutions

Comfortable presenting design work to technical teams, leadership, and external partners

Skilled at documenting design decisions, research outcomes, and usability findings

Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams
