Senior Division Order Analyst Houston, TX

Description: Position Summary This position is responsible for setting up and maintaining well records for operated and non-operated properties. The division order analyst will analyze title opinions, leases, contracts, unit pooling, production sharing agreements, and marketing arrangements to assist in determining ownership in wells and setting them up. The successful candidate will also update ownership records on existing wells and communicate with royalty and working interest owners as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following in a satisfactory manner consistently, with other duties and/or projects assigned as needed:

Analyze, calculate, and maintain record title ownership and division of interest in producing properties

Assist in securing and validating division order title curative documents

Set up and maintain revenue and joint interest billing decks, division orders, transfers, and make updates per receipt of recorded documents

Maintain accurate, up-to-date files in the BOLO Accounting system

Communicate effectively with mineral owners, title attorneys, landmen, accountants, etc., regarding property interests and inquiries

Responsible for managing information with accuracy and attention to detail

Interface effectively with multiple disciplines on land-related topics

Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager

Qualifications & Skills The qualifications and skills listed below are representative of those required to successfully complete the essential duties:

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

10+ years of Division Order experience preferred

Other Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Effective time management skills

Minimal supervision required

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects

Computer & Software Skills

Full knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software
