Job Responsibilities
Drive sales performance in assigned territory by reaching HCP offices and Mental Health Community Centers in person and virtually.
Effectively use assigned budgets to achieve territory objectives and customize discussions based on customer needs while maintaining ethical compliance.
Maintain current understanding of local market, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers and routinely share information with internal stakeholders.
Provide input into resource allocation decisions across customers/region and identify appropriate programs/resources for each customer, practice, and system.
Collaborate with Regional Business Manager and key stakeholders to develop a local business plan that ensures achievement of all business objectives.
Collaborate with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists on common objectives and best practice sharing.
Administer accurate administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication responses, synchronization, sample and expense reporting.
Build a business plan based on depth and breadth of customer business needs, resources and products.
Complete all company and job‑related training within required timelines.
Job Requirements
2+ years of previous sales experience in pharmaceuticals, biologics, or medical device sales required; 3+ years of specialty pharmaceutical sales preferred.
Experience in launch, antipsychotic, and/or bipolar sales highly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
Strong desire and passion for improving the lives of patients and caregivers; patient‑centric mindset.
High integrity and adherence to compliance policies and procedures.
Self‑motivation, initiative, entrepreneurial spirit, excellent decision‑making judgment.
Strong teamwork, collaboration, and cross‑functional skills.
Track record of overcoming obstacles in an evolving environment such as COVID‑19.
Ability to adapt to virtual and telemedicine environments.
Data analysis skills to assess progress against objectives and identify new opportunities.
Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information.
Willingness to travel domestically, including overnight travel and periodic corporate visits.
Compensation Salary range: $98,000 – $155,000 per year.
