Neuro Sales Specialist – Medford, OR
Johnson & Johnson, a leader in Innovative Medicine and MedTech, is hiring a Neuroscience Sales Specialist to promote our CNS therapeutics. The role combines deep product knowledge with a passion for improving patients’ lives and mandates strong sales experience.
Salary $98,000 – $155,000 per year.
Responsibilities
Follow compliance guidelines and drive sales performance to meet or exceed forecasts within the assigned territory by engaging healthcare professionals—both in-person and virtually.
Use the allocated budget efficiently to achieve territory objectives, customizing discussions and client interactions based on customer needs while maintaining ethical standards.
Maintain current understanding of the local market, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers, and share such information with relevant internal stakeholders.
Provide input into resource allocation decisions across customers/regions and identify appropriate programs and resources for each customer.
Collaborate with the Regional Business Manager and key stakeholders to develop a local business plan that ensures achievement of all business objectives.
Capitalize on formulary approvals and other commercial opportunities through effective strategic plan implementation.
Collaborate with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists on common objectives and share best practices.
Accurately manage work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication responses, synchronization, sample, and expense reporting.
Build a business plan based on the depth and breadth of customer needs, resources, and products.
Complete all required company training within the specified timelines.

Requirements
2+ years of sales experience in pharmaceuticals, biologics, or medical device sales required; 3+ years in specialty pharmaceuticals preferred.
Experience with launch, antipsychotic, and/or bipolar sales highly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
Strong desire to improve patient outcomes and a patient‑centric mindset.
High integrity and adherence to company compliance policies.
Self‑motivation, initiative, entrepreneurial spirit, and strong decision‑making judgment.
Proven track record of learning and adapting to evolving environments, including virtual care.
Able to analyze data to assess progress, diagnose performance issues, and identify new opportunities.
Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information to diverse audiences.
Work hours may include meetings outside normal hours; some overnight and domestic travel may be required.
Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
