The Neuroscience Sales Specialist‑II leads sales in assigned geographies, ensuring compliance, ethical conduct, and achievement of sales forecasts while supporting the growth of CAPLYTA® and other products.
Job Responsibilities
Drive sales performance to meet or exceed forecasts by calling on HCP offices and Mental Health Community Centers, both in-person and virtually.
Effectively use assigned budgets to achieve territory objectives, customizing discussions and client interactions based on customer needs in a compliant and ethical manner.
Maintain current understanding of local market, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers; share this information with relevant internal stakeholders.
Provide input on resource allocation decisions across customers/regions, selecting appropriate programs and resources for each customer, practice, and system.
Collaborate with Regional Business Manager and stakeholders to develop a local business plan ensuring achievement of all objectives; capitalize on formulary approvals and other opportunities through strategic plan implementation.
Collaborate with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists on common objectives and best‑practice sharing.
Accountable for timely and accurate administration of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication responses, synchronization, sample, and expense reporting.
Build a business plan based on depth and breadth of customer business needs, resources, and products.
Complete all company and job‑related training within required timelines.

Job Requirements
2+ years of sales experience in pharmaceuticals, biologics, or medical device sales; 3+ years in specialty pharmaceuticals preferred.
Experience with launch, antipsychotic, and/or bipolar sales highly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
Passion for improving patient and caregiver lives; patient‑centric mindset.
High integrity and adherence to company compliance policies.
Self‑motivation, initiative, entrepreneurial spirit, decision‑making judgment, and strong collaboration skills.
Track record of learning and adapting to evolving environments such as COVID‑19.
Agility with telemedicine/virtual environment.
Analytical skills to assess progress against objectives and identify new opportunities.
Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information to diverse audiences.
Work hours may include meetings outside normal hours; some overnight travel and domestic travel may be required.
Must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Salary Annual base salary range: $98,000 – $155,000.
