Event Sales Manager
to lead the sales and coordination of weddings, social celebrations, corporate events, and golf outings.

Position Overview The Event Sales Manager is responsible for driving event revenue while serving as the primary point of contact for clients from initial inquiry through successful event execution. This role requires strong sales acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate closely with existing event team, culinary and operations teams to ensure seamless events.
Key Responsibilities
Generate, manage, and convert leads for weddings, social, corporate, and special events
Conduct site tours, respond to inquiries, and prepare customized proposals
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and event terms
Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams
Collaborate with clients on event vision, layouts, timelines, and service requirements
Partner with culinary and service teams to develop menus, bar packages, and service plans
Maintain accurate records in CRM systems
Represent Lake Forest at networking events, industry functions, and promotional opportunities
Qualifications
Proven experience in event sales, hospitality, catering, or event planning
Strong food and beverage background
required
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsAbility to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously
Results-oriented mindset with strong closing capabilities
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as required
