About the job Field Sales Support FSS P-NH Cedar Valley Exteriors is seeking a detail-driven and highly organized
FSS (Sales Team Support Specialist)
with direct experience in the
roofing and siding insurance restoration industry . This role is vital in supporting our sales team by handling critical tasks related to
insurance scope review, supplement preparation , and ensuring our crews have accurate, complete project documentation before build day.
This person will serve as a key liaison between sales reps, estimators, insurance adjusters, and production teams to maximize job profitability and ensure customer satisfaction on every
storm restoration project .
Key Responsibilities:
Review insurance estimates (primarily Xactimate scopes)
for residential roofing and siding projects.
Identify missing or underpaid line items and prepare detailed
supplement packages
with proper documentation and justifications.
Communicate directly with
insurance adjusters
and carrier representatives to negotiate supplements and scope revisions.
Collaborate with the sales team to confirm approved work scope aligns with signed contracts and customer expectations.
Assist in creating and maintaining job files, contracts, material orders, and internal project checklists.
Upload and track documents and communication in project management software (e.g., AccuLynx, JobNimbus).
Ensure crews have accurate build information and that jobs are scheduled in coordination with material and labor availability.
Stay current with
local building codes, manufacturer requirements, and insurance guidelines
to support accurate scope and supplement development.
Support ongoing internal training and process improvements related to insurance restoration workflows.
Required Qualifications:
Experience in roofing/siding sales support, insurance supplementing, or storm restoration.
Working knowledge of
Xactimate scopes , roof measurements, and siding system components.
Familiarity with
insurance claims processes
in storm restoration (hail, wind, etc.).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills for dealing with insurance reps and internal teams.
Highly organized and capable of managing multiple job files and deadlines.
Experience with roofing CRMs/project management platforms (e.g., AccuLynx, JobNimbus, Roofr, etc.).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and PDF editing tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience working with
roofing contractors, insurance restoration firms, or public adjusters .
Xactimate proficiency or certification
is a strong plus.
Familiarity with EagleView, Hover, or similar measurement tools.
Knowledge of common roofing and siding manufacturer specifications (GAF, CertainTeed, LP SmartSide, etc.).
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
