About The Role Directly sells enterprise security software solutions across the breadth of the company’s products and drives incremental revenue with new customers, primarily using flexible and scalable licensing models. This field sales role has primary accountability for the planning, prospecting, qualification, and closing of revenue on new business accounts. After closing, the incumbent develops post‑close relationships within newly won accounts during the first twelve months by partnering with internal stakeholders responsible for onboarding, accelerated adoption, expansion and drawdown of flexible licensing models. Incumbents collaborate with other teams—including Account Managers, Customer Success, Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Marketing, Channel/Alliances Sales teams, Finance, and Customer Support—as well as external partners such as Alliance and Channel partners. This is a remote position based in the greater OH/MI/IN area.

What You’ll Do

Use professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues creatively and effectively.

Employ deep industry knowledge and understanding of customer decision‑making processes, goals, strategies and business objectives.

Demonstrate expert‑level presentation, customer service, financial/business acumen and negotiation skills at all levels of customer engagement.

Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the business and technical contexts of key account opportunities.

Act as a driven, self‑starter who leads account set‑up and motivates others to succeed.

Exhibit consultative effectiveness and establish trust with internal and external customers.

Apply functional knowledge of sales methodologies, techniques, and the sales lifecycle of security software solutions, software business value concepts, and CrowdStrike’s products.

What You’ll Need

Prospect, identify, qualify, and close new customer revenue within assigned accounts using flexible scalable licensing models (e.g., Falcon Flex).

Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan for each account, mapping CrowdStrike’s solutions to customer business requirements.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders during onboarding, accelerated adoption, expansion and transition of accounts after the first twelve months to expansion/renewal Account Managers.

Maintain accurate documentation within CRM/Marketing software—names, titles, contact info, opportunity value, product info, sales stages, probability, business pain, firm‑future commitments.

Accountable for accurate forecasting, quarterly revenue delivery and implementation of agreed account and business plans.

Promote CrowdStrike’s products and maximize brand recognition at all levels, while publicizing success stories.

Provide customer feedback to stakeholders for product, systems and process improvements.

Work primarily in the field away from home or office to accomplish duties.

Hold expert-level knowledge of selling CrowdStrike’s products and services.

Manage larger, complex accounts with higher quotas relative to complexity and nature; interact with executive‑level decision makers up to CXO level; assigned primarily to Enterprise or complex public sector accounts.

Education & Experience

BA/BS or equivalent educational background preferred.

Minimum 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
