Senior Color Designer – Apparel Our client is seeking a seasoned color design professional with a sharp fashion eye and the confidence to lead color execution in a fast-paced, high-volume apparel environment. This individual thrives in ambiguity, translates cultural and consumer insights into compelling color stories, and brings both strategic vision and hands-on execution to every stage of the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate balances creative intuition with precision, collaboration, and a strong sense of ownership. This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon. Lead end-to-end apparel color design execution, ensuring consistency and accuracy from concept through final production. Develop innovative, consumer-relevant color solutions informed by market, lifestyle, and trend research. Partner cross-functionally with design, development, materials, and merchandising teams to align color strategies with product intent. Establish and manage seasonal color direction, calendars, and timelines to support timely product delivery. Present clear, compelling color stories and strategies to internal stakeholders while guiding and mentoring junior designers. Senior Color Designer – Apparel Qualifications Extensive experience in true apparel color design, with a strong fashion sensibility and proven execution at scale. Background working with large, fast-moving apparel brands; ability to operate effectively in high-urgency environments. Advanced proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft tools; comfort working within digital design systems. Demonstrated ability to translate consumer, cultural, and competitive insights into commercially successful color strategies. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience; senior-level expertise preferred. Compensation: Up to $46/hr.
