Chapman Collision Centeris looking for a Body Shop Parts Advisor to join our team! This role requires the ability to accurately and efficiently verify and distribute parts to technicians, so that repairs can be completed in a timely manner. Successful candidates are precise and efficient team players who are great at building relationships.
A minimum of one year of auto body repair and retail/wholesale parts experience
is required.
Job Responsibilities
Oversee the parts mirror matching process from start to finish
Verify, label and distribute parts efficiently
Locate and stage parts for technicians
Scan and post parts
Track incomplete parts orders and returns (express and backordered parts)
Communicate with estimators and technicians regarding parts status
Receive and fill orders from vendors and other outside sources
Pick up parts from vendors and outside sources, as needed
Desired Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
Minimum of one year of experience in auto body environment
Minimum of one year of experience in a retail or wholesale parts department
Must be available to work Monday – Friday from 8am – 5pm
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and internet browsing
Proficiency with CCC1 software and OPS
Experience with Dealertrack is a plus
Able to read and understand parts catalog and other documents, such as instructions
Excellent prioritization and organization skills to effectively manage multiple tasks
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Strong written and verbal communication skillsMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Professional, well-groomed appearance
Compensation starts at $17 per hour
Possess a clean driving record and valid driver’s license
Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
