Diabetes Processing Specialist

Medtronic is seeking a Diabetes Processing Specialist as a critical part of our integrated sales team. In this role, you will use your problem-solving and people skills to help us foster strong relationships with health care providers and support our mission of improving the lives of people living with diabetes. Location: Monday-Friday in our San Antonio office. Hours: Typical hours will be an 8 hour shift between 7A-7P. Benefits: We have great benefits! Compensation: Set hourly rate of $15.50 per hour plus a sales incentive that could earn you an additional $4,350 per year or more! Start Date: Projected start date is May 8th. To be considered, you must be available to attend our paid training from May 8th - May 30th. A Day in the Life Electronically reviews physician charts, labs, and notes to receive insurance approval Partners with physicians by phone and email to appeal rejected submissions for prior authorizations Advocates for our patients' needs by building relationships with physicians and insurance companies Provides clear written and verbal communication with inside and field sales teams Must Have: Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent required Two (2) years of customer service or sales experience Nice to Have Customer service experience within a call center or sales environment Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills Strong attention to detail by being exact, precise, and accurate Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook About Medtronic Together, we can change healthcare worldwide.
