This opportunity is with a privately held commercial contractor experiencing steady, planned growth. The company delivers approximately $175M in annual construction volume and maintains a balanced mix of negotiated and competitive work across multiple commercial sectors.
This is a newly created position to support increased preconstruction demand due to an influx of project work in industrial, commercial, and transportation markets.
Responsibilities:
Assist with budgeting and cost modeling during early design phases
Coordinate subcontractor pricing and scope coverage
Participate in value engineering and cost control discussions
Support buyout and handoff to project management
Work closely with operations and leadership throughout preconstruction
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in preconstruction or estimating within commercial construction
Exposure to conceptual estimating, budgeting, and subcontractor coordination
Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
