Position Summary
Will oversee Low Voltage repairs in Sub Regions 357 and 336A.
What you’ll do Responsible for assisting in the operation of multiple facilities and performing additional job related responsibilities.
Essential Functions
Sets up and configures various low voltage systems (security systems, fire alarms, CCTV, audio/video systems, network cabling).
Runs, terminates, and labels cables according to project requirements and industry standards.
Performs regular maintenance checks to ensure system functionality and reliability. Identifies and resolves issues in low voltage systems promptly.
Provides technical support and training to end users on how to operate and maintain low voltage systems.
Ensures all installations and repairs adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
Follows all safety guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment. Maintains accurate and detailed records. Generates reports on system performance and maintenance activities.
Works closely with other technicians, engineers, and project managers to ensure successful project completion.
Communicates effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
Stays abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications
Training or certification in low voltage systems.
BICSI Installer Certification.
CompTIA certifications for networking (Network+).
Manufacturer-specific certifications (Honeywell, Axis, Bosch).
OSHA 10 or 30 hour certification/training.
NICET 1 & 2 Fire Alarm certification.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior work experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Prior work experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
Prior work experience in role requiring knowledge of local electrical codes and standards.
