We are dedicated to providing innovative strategies that meet the evolving needs of both public and private organizations throughout the United States.*# Public Outreach Specialist**Location:** Brooklyn & Queens, NY (Field-Based) **Type:** Full-Time, Contract **Pay Range:** **$25 – $30/hour** *(Language differential available)*### Position OverviewPublic Outreach Specialists are the **front-line representatives** of the Lead Service Line Replacement Program. They engage directly with homeowners to inform, educate, and assist residents with program participation.### Key Responsibilities* Conduct **door-to-door outreach** in assigned neighborhoods (always in teams of two or more)* Educate homeowners about lead service line replacement, benefits, and procedures* Assist residents with enrollment, consent forms, and Right-of-Entry documentation* Respond to program-related phone calls and emails* Attend tabling events, community meetings, and outreach events* Maintain accurate records of homeowner interactions and outcomes* Enter outreach data and notes into DEP systems (LeadCAST)* Coordinate follow-ups for inspections, scheduling, and replacements* Interact professionally and respectfully with diverse, multilingual communities### Qualifications* **High School Diploma required*** Minimum **3 years of experience** in community outreach, public engagement, or customer service* Comfortable with field-based work and resident interaction* Strong interpersonal and communication skills* Multilingual skills (Spanish, Mandarin, Bengali, etc.) strongly preferred* Government or utility program experience is a plus**How to apply**Please submit:1.
