Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from shelves based on order lists.
- Verify product information and quantities before staging.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment as needed to transport items.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the picking area.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to the supervisor immediately.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Follow all warehouse safety rules and guidelines, including proper lifting techniques.
- Utilize RF scanners or other technology for order fulfillment.
- Ensure all picked items are prepared for the next stage of the shipping process.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the warehouse logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret picking lists and product codes.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift repeatedly.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and the use of PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
