The Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Analysts primary responsibility is to ensure data quality within EAM as the system of record for the Department of Water Management (DWM). This includes strategizing improvement plans for inventory processes and identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy in asset and work order data management. The analyst analyzes data, conducts research to diagnose problems, and leverages SQL and business intelligence tools to navigate and manipulate data effectively. Supporting day?to?day operations, the analyst creates, adds, and deactivates users and user groups, adds new fields and creates data spies. The role also includes providing training sessions, creating Quick Reference Guides (QRGs), gathering requirements for reporting, and supporting system enhancements such as commodity code creation, contract and pricing updates, and continuous improvement of EAM processes. Role Responsibilities Maintain data quality and reliability of assets, inventory, and work order data within EAM as DWM's system of record. Use SQL and BI tools to analyze data, identify issues, and recommend improvements to data quality and operational efficiency. Support day?to?day system functions including user access, field configuration, data spies, and contract and pricing updates. Gather requirements and support the development and validation of reports that enable data?driven decision?making. Identify and support enhancements to asset, inventory, and work order management processes. Deliver user training, create Quick Reference Guides, and provide ongoing functional support to EAM users.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements
BA/BS degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency with SQL and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Experience improving data quality or business processes, including inventory management, asset lifecycle tracking, or work order optimization. Experience supporting end users in a regulated or public sector environment. Experience configuring and supporting CMMS platforms, including maintenance workflows and reporting.
