Position Medical Sales Representative – LONG ISLAND, NY (Greater Long Island, Hartford CT, Western MA)
Compensation Base Salary:
$80K + 1-year guarantee ($140K before commission) + commission & car package.
OTE:
$220-235K first year with room for growth.
Territory & Travel Territory covers most of Greater Long Island area, Hartford CT, and Western MA. 30% travel required. Candidates must live in Greater Long Island or Hartford CT area or surrounding suburbs.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage a full-line medical device sales territory.
Achieve and exceed sales targets; report results and pipeline status to sales leadership.
Present product features and benefits to healthcare professionals, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts; assist with product training and support.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (marketing, technical support) to optimize sales strategy.
Qualifications
4+ years of full-line medical sales experience running own territory with proven numbers.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
Ability to travel 30% of time; willing to reside in Greater Long Island or Hartford CT area.
Experience with med‑device sales and knowledge of healthcare provider landscape preferred.
