Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Product Manager to lead the ongoing development, positioning, and lifecycle management of our Steel Planters product line. The ideal candidate will combine deep product knowledge with market insights to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs and drive business growth.

Qualifications

Develop and manage the roadmap for the Steel Planters product line.

Identify customer needs, market trends, and gaps through research and data analysis.

Collaborate with R&D and design teams to create innovative, high-quality steel planters.

Lead product development from concept to launch, ensuring cost-effective and scalable manufacturing.

CAD and steel fabrication understanding.

Lifecycle Management:

Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation through retirement.

Continuously evaluate product performance and recommend enhancements or phase-outs.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams.

Ensure on-time and on-budget product launches with clear go-to-market strategies.

Market & Competitive Analysis:

Conduct competitive analysis and customer feedback collection to inform product positioning.

Monitor industry trends in landscaping, architecture, and commercial/residential planter use.

Develop product messaging, specifications, and training materials for sales teams.

Support marketing initiatives with content, visuals, and technical information.

Customer Focus:

Engage with distributors, landscape architects, commercial developers, and end-users to understand needs and gather feedback.

Ensure products meet durability, aesthetic, and sustainability expectations.

Preferred Skills

Background in architecture, landscaping, or industrial design is a plus.

Familiarity with CAD software and production drawings.

Knowledge of sustainability and green building practices.

Experience in B2B product environments.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Office-based with occasional visits to manufacturing facilities and customer sites.

Travel up to 10–20% as needed for trade shows, vendor meetings, or site visits.
