We’re looking for a passionate and results‑driven
Brand Manager
to lead strategic and day‑to‑day marketing efforts across key segments of
Harvest Snaps
and other
local jewels , cornerstone brands in Calbee’s portfolio. This role is responsible for driving brand growth, market relevance, and consumer love through smart strategy, innovation, and strong cross‑functional collaboration. You’ll own business performance, bring consumer insights to life through action, and help shape the future of BFY snacking.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute brand strategies to drive growth for assigned segments of Harvest Snaps and other local jewels (Weston’s etc.), aligned to business priorities and consumer needs
Champion insight‑led marketing plans that fuel innovation, drive household penetration, and build brand equity
Own the P&L for assigned segments of the BFY portfolio, partnering closely with finance and cross‑functional teams to manage budgets, track performance, and identify opportunities to optimize profitability
Lead cross‑functional initiatives in collaboration with sales, R&D, finance, supply chain, and external agency partners to bring ideas to market
Manage day‑to‑day performance of the brand, including budget ownership, forecasting, volume planning inputs, and in‑market tracking
Support development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, including creative brief development, media planning, shopper marketing, and post‑campaign measurement
Serve as a key partner to sales on customer‑facing materials, brand stories, and retail‑specific activation plans
Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and category dynamics to identify risks and opportunities
Translate consumer insights, category dynamics, and competitive activity into compelling innovation concepts with clear consumer benefits and commercial potential.
Lead cross‑functional project teams through Calbee’s Stage Gate process, partnering with R&D, Operations, Sales, Consumer Insights, and Finance to bring innovation to life: from ideation to launch
Collaborate with global Calbee teams as needed to share insights and leverage best practices
Contribute to team culture by modeling curiosity, collaboration, and a consumer‑first mindset
Required Qualifications & Skills
5-7 years of experience in consumer brand management or marketing in the CPG or Food & Beverage industry
Strong understanding of brand‑building fundamentals, including positioning, innovation, and integrated marketing
Demonstrated ability to manage projects cross‑functionally and bring initiatives to life in market
Solid business acumen with experience in budgeting, volume planning, and P&L management
Experience working with external agencies (creative, media, insights)
Highly organized, resourceful, and action‑oriented
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Passion for better‑for‑you foods and wellness trends is a plus
Location: Northern California and able to work a hybrid schedule (minimum 3 days per week onsite at our Fairfield, CA office).
