Job Summary Consumer Cellular is adding to our team of incredible relationship builders, conversation havers, and wireless technology lovers. A key member is the Retail Wireless Sales Specialist, who works directly with customers, listening to their needs and ensuring we provide a product-based solution. Our Retail Wireless Sales Specialists are motivated by delivering a world‑class experience, where customers leave with a smile and a working phone.
Our Retail Wireless Sales Specialists earn between
$17–$19/hour plus uncapped commission . The position is classified as modified full‑time, ranging between 30 to 39 hours per week. Most employees in this role average about 35 hours per week, offering a consistent schedule with flexibility.
What You Do in this Role
Brand Ambassador
– Ensure the store is comfortable, welcoming, and always open for guests. Encourage bringing your authentic self to work each day, reflecting our core value of “Happy Employees make Happy Customers.”
Relationship Builder
– Build relationships with guests, team members, and field leadership. Practice active listening, finding solutions, and initiating conversations.
Product and Services Enthusiast
– Receive training on our products and services, translating technology into real‑world conversations. Attend meetings, training sessions, and work with the team to ensure you have the knowledge to provide the best care.
Account Management
– Set and be available for guest appointments. Investigate and solve problems when reviewing guest accounts, determining the best plans and offers. Document customers’ accounts with relevant notes and details.
What You Need to Win in this Role
Education and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Positive attitude and ability to prioritize customers.
At least six months of customer service experience in a retail setting.
Bonus points
if you have worked in the wireless industry.
Experience operating a POS system and ensuring accurate transactions.
Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Schedule and Attendance:
Flexibility, including weekends.
Retail store open six to seven days a week. Hours vary between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on most days.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, walking, standing, and moving items, including standing for 6–8 hours.
Move around the store, assist customers, and maneuver merchandise when necessary.
Regular store cleaning, including cleaning display cases, shelves, and maintaining a safe environment.

Pay & Benefits Data (Equal Pay and Opportunities Act)
Minimum Salary: $36,750
Maximum Salary: $46,200
This reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary by location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors. Our Talent Acquisition team can answer additional questions during the selection process.
