Job Duties
Setting Appointments
(6‑8 hours per week): reach out to potential clients who have previously requested coverage with our company and schedule a time to meet with them to discuss their mortgage protection coverage.
Research
(4‑5 hours per week): dig into the information the client provided in order to customize options to meet their financial need in the case of a death or disability.
Meeting with Families
(2 days per week): meet with clients either virtually or in‑person to present their options, discuss the details of the coverage, and help them apply for coverage.
Administrative
(2 hours per week): follow up with insurance carriers to facilitate client applications through underwriting.
Qualifications We are looking for coachable, challenge‑seeking, self‑disciplined individuals with a growth mindset: skill set isn’t everything for this position.

Commission Structure Commissions as a New Agent: this position is a commission‑only based sales position. The average commission on a mortgage protection product is approximately $600 per family you protect. Our expectation is that a full‑time agent will sell 5 to 10 mortgage protection plans per week. In addition to mortgage protection, we also have a selection of premium financial products to help people save for retirement or protect their current retirement accounts (e.g., 401k's and IRA's) from losing money in the stock market. We have extensive training on how these products work and how to sell them. In addition to uncapped commission, we have a competitive bonus structure program along with incentive trips agents/managers can qualify for based on their individual and team results.
No agent’s success, earnings, or production results should be viewed as typical, average, or expected. Not all agents achieve the same or similar results, and no particular results are guaranteed. Your level of success will be determined by several factors, including the amount of work you put in, your ability to successfully follow and implement our training and sales system and engage with our lead system, and the insurance needs of the customers in the geographic areas in which you choose to work.
