The Opportunity This is a rare ground‑floor opportunity to join Smile Spirits™ during a pivotal growth phase as we expand our Idaho market presence. As our Sales Representative, you’ll have the autonomy to build and own your territory while representing an innovative brand that’s disrupting the RTD cocktail category. With aggressive growth targets (scaling by 200% in revenue), you’ll play a critical role in our success and have direct visibility with company leadership. This position offers the perfect blend of sales, account management, and event marketing—ideal for someone who wants variety, independence, and the chance to make a real impact in a fast‑moving startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with on‑premise accounts (bars, restaurants) and off‑premise accounts (grocery stores, liquor stores, convenience stores) throughout your Idaho territory
Achieve territory sales goals through strategic new account placements, distribution expansion, and consistent volume growth across existing accounts
Conduct regular account visits to assess product placement, monitor inventory levels, identify promotional opportunities, and ensure optimal shelf positioning
Negotiate shelf space, end‑cap displays, promotional features, and pricing with retail buyers and on‑premise managers
Ensure all pricing, placement, and operations comply with Idaho liquor regulations and local requirements
Track sales performance with precision and report results on weekly and monthly basis to leadership
Maintain accurate records of all account visits, follow‑ups, and touchpoints in Monday.com CRM and VIP/Karma software for complete visibility and accountability
Identify and prospect new accounts to continuously expand market presence and distribution footprint across Idaho
Manage account receivables and coordinate closely with distribution partners to resolve any delivery or inventory issues promptly
Events & Brand Activations
Plan, coordinate, and execute Smile Spirits™ events including samplings, tastings, festivals, and promotional activations that drive brand awareness and trial
Represent the brand professionally at all consumer‑facing events, ensuring compliance with sampling regulations while creating positive, engaging experiences that excite consumers about Smile Spirits™
Proactively secure event opportunities through direct outreach to venues, event organizers, community partners, and local businesses
Manage all event logistics including staffing coordination, inventory management, promotional materials, setup, and post‑event breakdown
Maintain detailed event records to track ROI, measure impact, and identify follow‑up opportunities for continued engagement
Train and supervise brand ambassadors or temporary event staff as needed to ensure consistent brand representation
Provide regular, detailed updates to leadership on account activity, sales trends, competitive intelligence, and market insights
Submit comprehensive weekly and monthly reports on sales performance, pipeline development, territory health, and progress toward established KPIs
Work closely with marketing, operations, and leadership teams to support product launches, promotional campaigns, and market initiatives
Participate actively in sales meetings, training sessions, and strategic planning discussions
Collaborate with distribution partners to ensure optimal product availability, proper execution, and market coverage
Energetic self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced growth environment
Experienced in beverage sales, account management, or event marketing
Comfortable with technology (Monday.com CRM, VIP/Karma software)
Detail‑oriented with strong reporting and tracking skills
Passionate about building brands and creating memorable experiences

Requirements

After‑Hours availability – many events are nights/weekends
