The HR Administrative Specialist will provide administrative support to the DNCR HR Team. Any information omitted from the application form, listed as general statements, listed under the text resume section, or on an attachment will not be considered for qualifying credit.****Management Prefers:*** Demonstrated experience working on an HR team.* Demonstrated experience providing administrative support for a team or manager.* Demonstrated experience completing action and running reports in Fiori.**Key Responsibilities:*** Answer main HR phone line, direct calls, take messages, etc.* Reconcile timesheets and invoices for Temporary Solutions staff working in HR.* In partnership with the HR leadership team, compile information for the DNCR internal newsletter.* Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates for HR positions and assist with the onboarding of HR employees.* Manage probationary to permanent status changes for the agency, including Fiori actions.* Maintain organizational charts as needed.* Perform file maintenance tasks.* Complete student loan forgiveness forms as requested.* Complete the annual inventory listing for Finance and surplus items as needed.* Create and submit travel reimbursements for HR employees.* Fulfill employment verification requests.* Initiate all e-Procurement for and maintenance requests for HR.* Manage dual employment and secondary employment processes for DNCR.* Maintain HR employee lists, including birthday, emergency contact, etc.* Handle HR mail distribution, certified mailings, deliveries, etc.* Assist HR Director and HR leadership with administrative tasks as needed.**Position/Physical Requirements:*** Typical work schedule is Monday – Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm with flexibility.* 3 days onsite (M-W), 2 days telework (Thursday & Friday).**Minimum Education and Experience**Some state job postings say you can qualify by an “equivalent combination of education and experience.” If that language appears below, then you may qualify through EITHER years of education OR years of directly related experience, OR a combination of both.
