Junior Content Strategist for YouTube
Location: Remote or Sacramento hybrid
Compensation: $50,000-$60,000/year with room to grow
Commitment: 3-month agreement with intent for full-time hire

About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Content Strategist. Someone who genuinely loves YouTube,watches, and studies it.
This role is all about selecting the right marketing clips, understanding why they work, and helping our team create a high-volume YouTube content across kids media, tech, and gaming.
If you have opinions about thumbnails, pacing, creator formats, or content creation, you will fit right in.

What You’ll Do
Pull high-quality clips from mainstream kids shows, tech, and gaming content.
Support creative ideation for social campaigns.
Help outline ideas, write metadata, and organize playlists and channel structure.
Write social media copy, video titles, and descriptions. SEO experience is preferred.
Coordination & Communication
Help manage day-to-day channel operations and coordinate with producers, editors, and designers.
Maintain publishing schedules and track deadlines, deliverables, and feedback cycles.
Bonus: Experience with AirTable, Google Sheets, or other CMS tools.
YouTube Research & Insight
Pay attention to emerging trends in social video and the kids and youth entertainment landscape.
Share quick insight summaries or inspiration when needed.
Bonus Skills/Qualifications (Experience We’re Looking For)
0–5 years in content strategy, digital production, social, or editorial.
Familiarity with YouTube, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, storytelling, and editorial packaging.
Basic video editing or thumbnail design experience is a plus.
Experience with kids media, gaming, or tech content is a plus.
What You’ll Work On
You will support strategy for channels that publish more than 50 videos a month across entertainment, kids media, tech voices, and gaming verticals.
Expect fast-moving projects, collaborative teams, and real exposure to YouTube strategy at scale.
