Aircraft Structures Mechanic
Join our team as an Aircraft Structural Mechanic, where you will have the opportunity to work on the F/A-18E, F/A-18F, and F-18 Super Hornet fighter jets. Your role will involve aircraft modifications, focusing on structural and sheet-metal alterations. Responsibilities: Perform depot-level and heavy checks on aircraft, including equipment overhauls and modifications. Implement sheet-metal modifications and structural repairs on military aircraft such as the F/A-18E, F/A-18F, and Super Hornet. Address corrosion issues and apply high-lock solutions to maintain aircraft integrity. Essential Skills: Minimum of 3 to 7 years of recent experience in depot-level or heavy checks on any aircraft. Proficiency in structural and sheet-metal modifications. Experience with military aircraft, preferably F/A-18 models. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience working with the Air Force, Navy, or Marines. Familiarity with Boeing aircraft and modifications. Schedule: 1st Shift: MondayFriday, 5:30 AM2:30 PM (overtime optional). 2nd Shift: MondayFriday, 2:00 PM10:30 PM (overtime optional). Work Environment: The role offers flexible shift options with 1st Shift from 5:30am-2:30pm and 2nd Shift from 2pm-10:30pm Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
