Stravix Solutions is seeking a high-performing 1099 Sales Commission-Based Contractor with experience in attic insulation sales to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an entrepreneurial sales professional who thrives on closing deals, managing their own schedule, and maximizing uncapped commissions. You will represent premium insulation services, consult with homeowners, and drive revenue through solution-based selling.
As a contractor, you will provide your own sales tools and equipment. Stravix Solutions provides marketing support, qualified appointments, and a monthly car allowance incentive to support your field sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Management & Prospecting: Work company-provided leads and self-generate opportunities through referrals, networking, and canvassing.
In-Home Consultations: Perform attic inspections, evaluate insulation needs, and explain product benefits (energy savings, comfort, pest resistance, air sealing, etc.).
Sales Presentations & Closing: Deliver clear, professional proposals and close contracts with homeowners.
Upsell / Cross-Sell: Identify opportunities for add-on services (air sealing, pest exclusion, crawl space work).
Client Relationship Management: Maintain follow-up with prospects, nurture pipeline, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Reporting: Submit proposals, contracts, and weekly sales activity reports through CRM.
Professional Representation: Uphold company values while operating independently in the field.
Qualifications
Experience: 2+ years proven sales success in insulation, pest control, HVAC, solar, or home improvement services.
Proven Closer: Documented history of exceeding sales targets in a commission-driven environment.
Technical Aptitude: Comfortable inspecting attics and explaining insulation benefits in simple, customer-friendly terms.
Self-Starter: Ability to work independently as a contractor, manage your own schedule, and drive results.
Professionalism: Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Smartphone/tablet for estimates & contracts
Valid driver’s license & insurance
Equipment to perform inspections (contractor's responsibility)
