Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations according to customer orders.
- Utilize pick lists, scanners, or other technology to identify and retrieve products.
- Verify the quantity and item number of picked products to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the designated packing or staging area.
- Maintain an organized and clean workstation and warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and procedures, including proper lifting and the use of required PPE.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damages to a supervisor immediately.
- Participate in cycle counts and inventory checks.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily picking goals.
Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods during the shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good reading comprehension and the ability to follow instructions.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Willingness to comply with all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles is beneficial.
