Apply for the Graphic Design Coordinator role at University of Tennessee Foundation, Inc. Job Description The University of Tennessee Foundation, Inc. (UTFI) invites applications for the Graphic Design Coordinator position at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. The role reports to the Senior Director of Creative Communications and is responsible for producing and developing visual communications for advancement initiatives, collaborating with members of the Communications and Donor Experience team and partners across the division. Responsibilities Conceptualize and produce visual design projects: work within the UT Advancement brand to generate high‑quality print and digital materials, determine concept, design, and development of collateral, make strategic choices for typography, illustrations, and photography, and create simple animations for digital communication. Print‑production & file management: prepare digital layouts, prep files for production, and send print‑ready files to printer or vendor; export files for each platform; manage print projects from concept to completion by sending artwork, reviewing proofs, and final approval. Photography & special projects: coordinate, manage, and art‑direct photoshoots with students, alumni, faculty, and staff; communicate with faculty or staff to reserve locations; edit, size, and archive photography; manage special visual communications projects as needed; support Advancement team by staffing special alumni and development events. Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree. 1+ years of experience in graphic design, including proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, creative thinking, and attention to detail. Excellent organization, time management, and project management skills with a positive attitude. A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is required. Preferred Education and Experience Experience with additional Adobe programs, Microsoft Office, and digital photography. Experience with print production. Experience designing digital advertising and social media. Selected candidates will be asked to provide contact information for three professional references. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
