About Apta Management

Time is the one thing no one can buy back.

Surgeons invest a decade or more in rigorous training. They sacrifice countless hours with family and dedicate their lives to healing others. Yet too many find themselves caught between financial pressure and professional exhaustion, searching for a path forward that does not require abandoning the work they love.

Apta exists to solve this problem.

Founded by Dr. Vasu Kakarlapudi, a practicing ENT surgeon who understood this tension firsthand, Apta Management is the property management arm of Apta Investment Group. We are a physician-founded real estate firm specializing in medical office buildings and grocery-anchored and strong retail properties. Our work enables surgeons to build lasting wealth through private real estate without sacrificing more of their most precious resource: TIME. In other words, to be the type of empathetic surgeon you want working on you in your time of vulnerability.

Our Vision: By 2035, build a community of 1,000 financially independent surgeons through private real estate investments, impacting 25 million patients and strengthening the practice of medicine itself.

The name Apta means "trust" in Sanskrit. It is not merely our name. It is our operating principle.

Why This Work Matters

When a surgeon's financial burden lifts, the effect ripples outward. They become more present with their families. They bring sharper focus to the operating room. Their patients receive better care. Communities grow stronger.

Your work here initiates that ripple.

You will join a lean, high-trust team where your contributions directly shape investor outcomes and tenant experiences. We invest alongside our investors in every transaction. Our capital enters first and exits last. This alignment extends to how we build our team: we seek individuals who think and act like owners, because that is precisely how we expect them to operate.

This is not a role for those seeking comfort in bureaucracy or anonymity in hierarchy. It is a role for builders. As the organization scales, so will your scope, your influence, and your opportunity.

Our Values: T.I.M.E.

Our values form the word TIME deliberately. Time is the ultimate currency we return to surgeons. It is also the standard against which we measure ourselves daily.

Transparency: We communicate with openness, honesty, and clarity. There is no room for ambiguity or concealment. When challenges arise, we address them directly and early.

Integrity: We do what is right, particularly when it is difficult. When mistakes occur, we own them fully and resolve them completely.

Meticulousness: We hold ourselves to exacting standards. Precision, accuracy, and attention to detail are not aspirations. They are requirements.

Evolve: We pursue continuous improvement with discipline. We test assumptions, refine processes, and commit to being measurably better tomorrow than we are today.
