
SONIC Multi-Unit Leader Job Description

As a Multi-Unit Leader, you will manage operations across multiple SONIC drive-ins, overseeing General Managers and employees to ensure quality food, cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction. Your responsibilities include:
- Managing, training, and coaching General Managers and conducting management orientation.
- Directing and assigning employees to meet operational standards.
- Overseeing multiple drive-in employees and management in performing all duties across various stations to ensure quality and service standards are met.
- Ensuring compliance with employee handbook policies and practices.
- Addressing employee issues and policy violations promptly.
- Reviewing work schedules to ensure proper staffing and service levels.
- Monitoring cost control procedures and taking corrective actions as needed.
- Monitoring vendor performance and taking corrective actions when necessary.
- Auditing employment and payroll records.
- Focusing on guest needs and responding to escalated guest requests and complaints appropriately.
- Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring management team members.
- Approving employee and management compensation within guidelines.
- Preparing operational reports and developing action plans for financial or sales issues.
- Developing and implementing regional marketing plans.
Additional requirements include:
- High school diploma or equivalent; advanced studies preferred.
- Minimum of three years restaurant management experience, preferably in QSR.
- Experience managing multiple units.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of recruiting, labor laws, and sanitation regulations.
- Leadership, communication, and supervisory skills.
- Basic accounting and computer skills.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and solve problems.
