Our client is a public accounting firm. They seek a Tax Senior Manager to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review complex corporate, S-Corp, partnership, individual, estate, and non-profit tax returns
- Conduct detailed reviews of work products and the application of tax law
- Investigate and analyze tax issues through research and review
- Develop and review tax projections and participate in broader tax planning initiatives, including research
- Represent clients in tax examinations for individual and business matters
- Guide and mentor junior staff to support their professional development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting or related field
- 8-10 years of tax experience
- Individual, partnership, estate, and corporate income tax return experience required
- 5+ years of supervising junior staff
- Experience with international and non-profit taxes and returns is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- CPA preferred
