Tax Manager

Our client is a public accounting firm. They seek a Tax Manager to join their Jericho, NY office.

Responsibilities

• Lead Tax Seniors, Semi Seniors, Associates, and staff accountants
• Monitor completion of assignments within the budgeted time
• Engage with clients to discuss tax information issues throughout the year
• Build technical knowledge through participation in organization meetings, training programs, industry events, and research activities
• Identify risk management issues and propose potential solutions through research and collaboration
• Perform research and draw conclusions to address target issues

Requirements

• 5+ years of Tax Generalist experience
• Public accounting experience
• Excellent leadership skills
• Detail-oriented and analytical
• CPA required
