Solutions Director (Digital and Analytics Sales – Life Sciences and Healthcare)
· Must have experience in one of the following: Application Services (API, Cloud, DevOps, Microservices, Modernization), Business Analytics (Big Data, Data Science), Design Consulting (UX/UI, Design Thinking, UX Research)
· The position is expected to require at least 40% travel (2 days a week) within the US
HCL’s Digital and Analytics division is an exciting and dynamic organization that is driving Digital Transformation for clients worldwide.
· We help clients achieve digitalization strategies by integrating Design, Process, Platforms, and Analytics. HCL seeks a talented Digital Solutions leader to join the elite DNA Go-To-Market team.
· This team handles presales and solutions for Life Sciences and Healthcare clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing expert advice on business solutions across various technology platforms, coordinating with HCL sales and delivery teams to manage presales activities from capability presentations to SOW negotiations.
- Possessing broad knowledge of digital solutions and technology stacks, guiding diverse customer stakeholders and external partners.
- Ability to elicit client requirements through discussions and craft creative solutions with minimal information or guidance.
- Experience working with global teams under tight deadlines.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing digital solutions across multiple technologies from inception to implementation.
- Influencing customers and stakeholders throughout the deal cycle.
- Supporting growth initiatives for new and existing customers through opportunities like RFPs, proactive bids, and transformation projects.
- Conducting architectural and design reviews of proposed IT investments to ensure strategic alignment and technical integrity.
- Facilitating strategy sessions, design reviews, product selection, and requirements gathering through workshops.
- Providing expert advice on application solutions, including planning, architectural design, development, and troubleshooting.
- Proposing suitable engagement and commercial models for opportunities.
- Collaborating with the delivery team to ensure commitments are met and forecasts are accurate.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience, and Requirements:
- Extensive experience in enterprise client interactions within the US and ability to build strong relationships.
- 10+ years of relevant IT or Professional Services experience, with at least 6+ years in the Life Sciences or Healthcare verticals.
- Comfort operating independently in unstructured environments and navigating grey zones across teams.
- Experience coordinating with global teams across multiple time zones to develop solutions aligned with client objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science; MBA preferred.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills are essential.
