Edgewood Tahoe
The Ski Ambassador/Concierge is responsible for the development and oversight of skier services for Edgewood Tahoe Resort. Serving as the primary point of contact for all winter ski-related inquiries, this role ensures clear communication, seamless coordination, and exceptional guest experiences. The Ski Ambassador supports the Resort Experiences teams by providing guidance on ski operations and offerings and maintains a collaborative partnership with on-site ski rental and fitting providers. This position exemplifies excellence in luxury hospitality and a commitment to creating memorable guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and oversee the skier services program for Edgewood Tahoe Resort, with a focus on Heavenly Mountain partnerships and offerings.
Coordinate and support all mountain sports activities including the skier services program, private and group lessons, mountain guides, children’s ski school, transportation, and personalized mountain services.
Serve as the primary liaison for ski-related guest inquiries, providing accurate and timely information.
Support ski-related operations such as rentals, fittings, ski valet services, boot warming, ticketing assistance, and providing information on all regional ski resorts and services.
Serve as a resource for guests and internal teams by maintaining knowledge of skier services.
Collaborate with resort departments to ensure consistent and accurate communication of ski and resort information to guests.
Address, manage, and resolve guest issues related to skier services, coordinating with internal departments and external partners as needed to ensure guest satisfaction.
Support the Concierge Department as needed to ensure smooth and efficient resort operations.
Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall success of the team and business.
Qualifications and Skills:
Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in guest-facing roles within ski, outdoor recreation, or related industries.
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Professional demeanor with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members.
Prior hotel or luxury hospitality experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to safely lift, move, and stack items weighing up to 40 lbs.
Able to perform physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
