The Opportunity We are seeking a dependable and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and executing menu items with consistency and precision in a high-quality, member-focused environment. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while upholding the club’s culinary standards.
Duties and Functions
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards set by the Executive Chef
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before service
Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner and presented attractively
Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations throughout service
Assist with prep work, banquet execution, and special events as needed
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service
Follow portion and waste control guidelines to support cost management
Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
Support other kitchen roles as needed to maintain team efficiency
The job duties are all inclusive to all outlets, food stations and events.
Qualification Standards
High school diploma or equivalent; formal culinary training is a plus
Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a line cook in a professional kitchen, preferably in a private club, resort, or upscale dining setting
Strong knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen operations
Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to follow recipes, procedures, and instructions precisely
Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a clean and professional appearance
Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Food safety certification preferred
