Oakland University Golf & Learning Center is seeking a dynamic, service oriented Assistant Golf Professional to join the team for the 2026 season. The specific duties will be assigned based on the final candidate's background and goals, but will touch on each of the essential responsibilites listed below. The club has also recently added a winter simulator experience for teaching, fitting, and general use. This offers the opportunity for year-round employment. Experience Required
PGA or LPGA Class A Members and/or Associates working toward their Class A status Essential Responsibilities
Provide a positive, accessible, and engaging professional presence to all affiliates, guests, and fellow staff Administer a variety of events from large tournaments to weekly leagues Provide instruction to all demographics through private and group lessons Provide club fitting services as needed Assist the retail operation to include inventory management, display rotation, daily sales, and personal shopping Tour the golf course on a regular basis to interact with affiliates while monitoring and managing play Assist with the junior golf program and camps Gain experience with tournament, operating, and capital budgets under the guidance of the Head Golf Professional Assist in written and visual club communications Maintain a tournament schedule and play golf on a regular basis with the affiliates Benefits
