The Opportunity Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley is looking for an In‑Room Dining Server.
Essential Function Of The Job
Check completed kitchen orders, compare with guest’s original order, and deliver food to the guest’s in‑room, meeting any special needs or requests.
Transport items promptly to ensure proper food quality.
Greet guests and describe selected items using vivid descriptions of origin, taste, and preparation; explain options for tray removal; respond to tray‑removal requests within established time standards.
Break down, clean and set‑up room‑service tables, condiment stations, flatware, dishware, and side stations.
Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to concerns and requests.
Close guest checks accurately, securing room number and signature; settle voided checks or complimentary meals.
Take guest orders when order taker is absent.
Plate and prepare small food items.
Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as outlined in EmPact.
Work harmoniously and professionally with co‑workers and supervisors.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications And Skills
High school education or equivalent.
Preferred experience in a luxury hotel F&B or related work.
Flexible with schedule – able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, evening/overnight shifts.
Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.
Ability to carry and balance a tray.
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States (work authorization document).
