Position Summary Position Summary What you’ll do: Finds and supports membership by providing information on membership benefits, promoting the value of company products and services, processing membership upgrades and credit accounts, participating in sales and marketing events and making efforts to meet membership goals. Maintains safety of facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, following company steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations to management. Fulfills member fax “n” pull and click “n” pull orders by reviewing orders, pulling items from shelves, scanning items, wrapping and palletizing items, ensuring order and invoice accuracy, securing items until members arrive, and following up on out-of-stock merchandise to meet member needs. Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners, identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations, carrying out tasks, communicating progress, determining and recommending improvement opportunities, and adapting to change and feedback. Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting company products and services. Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics standards by implementing action plans, using the open door policy, and maintaining integrity. Respects individuals by embracing differences, creating a workplace where associates feel supported and connected, and fostering belonging. Strengthens the team by mentoring others, recognizing contributions, and modeling integrity. Serves customers and members, delivers results while putting the customer first, makes decisions based on reliable information, balances short- and long-term priorities, and considers how work impacts team delivery. The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $24.00*.
The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
