Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Director to develop and implement strategies to foster and strengthen relationships and support providers in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Plan and coordinate physician relations initiatives, activities, and programs, including analysis of overall effectiveness and fiscal management.
Develop, in conjunction with the Director, a standard process across provider relations, education, development, and training; mentor and train new team members; utilize lean methodology to lead A3 projects for provider relations.
Develop and implement strategies to recognize and retain physicians and advanced practice professionals in the community and hospital through a variety of high-level, creative and innovative mechanisms.
Lead the team in social/networking events for the entire medical group and families, including years of service awards, banquets, social mixers, family fun days and National Doctor’s Day and APP week events.
Collaborate with various departments to provide hospital tours to providers and staff to experience various departments / new services of Onvida Health.
Plan and coordinate annual appreciation event for physicians, and APPs.
Lead and facilitate immigration process for employed providers and oversee the state loan repayment program for employed providers.
Seek opportunities to improve and streamline process, procedures, and participate in development of standardization of process, workflows, and procedures across provider relations roles.
Train and mentor new relations team members; apply lean methodology to identify, lead and present A3 projects for provider relations team.
Educate providers, key community employers and ambulatory areas on new services available at the hospital, ambulatory clinics or important changes.
Responsible for monthly tracking and data reporting for new and terminated providers and detailed analytics as assigned.
Lead collaboration with community relations team on pertinent provider information and updates to align how the physician or APP is marketed to the community and internal providers/staff (website, bio cards, road shows, and meet & greets).
Produce, update and distribute quarterly Ambulatory Clinic list to key community employers and Onvida Health teams and community relations.
Collaborate with provider admin team and community relations in development of provider promotional or educational materials, social media/digital posts for Onvida Health employee Facebook page.
Standardize and regulate the physician and APP onboarding and orientation process based on individual provider specialties and provider relationship to the organization; direct and oversee new physician and APP HR onboarding along with oversight of the annual provider educational training and development and tracking mechanisms.
Lead collaboration with hospital marketing department in the development of all new physician/APP marketing plans for the community and internal providers/staff (website, bio cards, road shows, and meet & greets).
Provide concierge level service to providers throughout relocation and onboarding, including meeting and escorting during orientation and providing support throughout transition.
Delegate responsibility to provider liaisons and support staff and oversee progress of team’s assigned tasks.
Manage Provider Recruitment and Relations projects and initiatives assigned.
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree.
Three (3) or more years provider liaison experience at Onvida Health.
Obtain Provider Onboarding or related professional certification through AAPPR or similar industry organization within 18 months.
Credentials: Physician Provider Recruitment Pro Cert.
Fleet Safety Education – essential.
YRMC Fleet Safety Clearance.
